CHANGE OF DATE
NB: the date of the 2012 conference has been changed. The conference will be on Tuesday, June 19, 2012. This change is to avoid conflict with the school holidays, which will occur a week later than usual owing to the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
The Agenda
The detailed conference agenda will be published in early 2012. The morning plenary sessions will feature keynotes by industry leaders and senior Ingres Corporation executives; product roadmap overviews; the Executive Q&A, and the presentation of the IUA Community Award. Lunch will be followed by 20 in-depth technical break-out sessions across five topic tracks, delivered by customers and Ingres engineers. Following the break-out sessions there will a closing plenary, possibly including a New Features discussion and vote, and closing remarks. The day will conclude with an informal wine & cheese.
Call for Papers Open NOW
Proposals for technical break-out sessions are invited for the 2012 IUA Conference. Break-out presentations are expected to be approximately 35-minutes long, with five minutes for Q&A. Proposals should be in the form of a very brief abstract (approximately one paragraph), which can be submitted in any reasonable format (e.g. plain text, Word document, PDF) to papers2012@uk-iua.org.uk.
The closing date for submissions is December 15, 2011. Presenters will be notified that their presentation has been selected by January 15, 2012.
