Thanks to very generous support from Actian Europe we have been able to book Simon Rogers of the Guardian to present this year's keynote address. Simon edits the Guardian Datablog and Datastore—and is a news editor for the Guardian. He is author of Facts are Sacred. Simon is a data geek and has presented at data conferences around the world (O’Reilly, GigaOM, Google conferences). He will speak about the need to get to grips with data (mine, analyze, take action) and how it relates to the world of journalism
