It is not too late to qualify for free admission to the 2013 AUA
conference in June. You just have to do a 40 minute presentation on any
of the Actian products: Vectorwise, OpenROAD or Ingres. (Or some of the
newer ones.)

Submit a very brief outline or abstract of what you would like to talk
about at papers2013@uk-iua.org.uk by May 10.

The UK Actian Users Association Conference 2013 will take place in London on Tuesday 11th June.

We invite those working with Actian products who would like to present at the conference to submit an outline/abstract for a 40 minute presentation, for consideration by the selection committee.

Topics may relate to any products in Actian’s range. As Actian evolves to expand their product and technology set, so the UK AUA seeks to grow too; as well as considering papers involving established Actian products, such as Vectorwise, OpenROAD and Ingres, we'd like to hear from users of Versant or Pervasive technologies too.

The afternoon breakout sessions are a key feature of the annual UK AUA conference, when users and technologists from the UK and beyond share their wealth of knowledge and expertise, through interesting and informative presentations, with a receptive and like-minded audience. Last year 20 breakout sessions covered topics including product roadmaps, fast data loading techniques, Unicode, Geospatial functions, deploying OpenROAD apps on a variety of platforms, improving stability - and many others.

Help us to make the event a continued success, by submitting a short abstract for your presentation. It's not necessary to have a complete presentation prepared at this stage.

Notifications of selected papers will be sent by 10th May.
